No fair! I wanna wear my pj's to work! Anyone know where there's a pajama mass? Some presbyter must have one somewhere!
.
This is the concept of
creeping sharia at work, because Mohammedans wear dirty night shirts in public.
.
It has always been a Catholic tradition to dress properly at Mass and in official functions.
.
A few years ago they started having "casual Fridays" at the bank.
I went into the bank one day for some kind of personal banking service and the guy helping me behind the desk was in jeans and a T-shirt. I had the creepy feeling that I was not getting qualified assistance. I had to go back another day to make sure it was all okay.
.
Seriously, walking around in the bank gave me the impression that this must be a joke, and we were all on Candid Camera.
.
As years went by, gradually those "casual Fridays" got extended to other days during the week.
It makes no sense to me -- they wouldn't be doing it if customers complained about it.
So it must be okay with banking customers to see bank tellers and officers in casual clothing.
Am I the only one with this aghast observation at the bank?
.
I took the opportunity to speak with other customers leaving the bank and they seemed to be offended that I would attempt to speak to them, as if they thought that I might be stalking them because I saw them withdraw cash or whatever. There was no easy answer to this. People going to the bank don't want to talk to strangers at all. The BANK is a sacred place, kind of like being in church used to be.
