Title: A Double Standard
Post by: poche on March 17, 2018, 02:12:22 AM
California high school history teacher Julianne Benzel was put on paid leave after questioning in front of her students whether school administrations would let a group of students protesting abortion walk out of class in the middle of the school day like they did with students who did so on Wednesday in protests over school shootings.
“I opened up the discussion for if schools … are going to allow one group of students to get up during class and walk out to protest on one issue, would they still give the same courtesy to another group of students who wanted to get up and walk out in protest. And I used the example of abortion,” Rocklin High School teacher Benzel said on Fox News Friday morning.
Benzel said two students and one parent took issue with her comment and complained to the administration who then placed her on leave for two days.
The California teacher said she was trying to a start a class discussion ahead of National Walkout Day on whether the situation would be treated the same way if a school walkout was organized from the other side of the political aisle.

Unfortunately, it goes further than this.

The State of California allows Planned Parenthood to go into California middle schools, high schools, and community colleges to push for contraceptives, abortion pills, and abortion.  If any students wanted to protest abortion, this would cause a direct confrontation with Planned Parenthood. Now with sex education starting in kindergarten, Planned Parenthood is even allowed in elementary schools and primary schools to teach sɛҳuąƖ immorality. It is wicked.

All parents should be homeschooling their children and forming cooperative home schools where parents with specific knowledge can teach subjects like mathematics, history, religion, theology, phonetics, English composition, reading comprehension, music, storytelling, dramatics (Christmas plays), sewing, embroidery, crocheting and knitting, costume making, cooking, car mechanics, woodworking, and athletics. Many of these classes are no longer offered in public schools or even in Novus Ordo Catholic Schools.

Maria, right on!  The enemy makes evil: sex for all, and then the enemy reports on the epidemic of STD's and how our money is being spent by the millions or more to prevent STD's , but not the evil behaviors.  Yeah, that sounds like the enemy working hard for our money and destruction!

This is why we need to have a good catechesis on the importance of the virtue of chastity.

And how many politicians have stock in pharmaceutical companies? No one in DC should even have stocks because it is conflict of interest.
