  • I wanted to register on this forum with the hope of learning more about the Christian religion, I am Muslim base and over time I am extremely detached from religion that negatively weighed on his conscience for me many reasons to forget what a religion should really get us, my best friend is Christian taught me things about the Christian religion and over time I was told that I could try to pray and since I started (as a beginner course) there have been some changes in my life ..

Finally here, I hope to somehow find my place with you and more power to evolve in a good way.

The above is a rough translation of the introduction of someone who registered on another language forum. It looks like she is a muslim moving towards Christianity. Of course we all know that the true home of Christians is in the Catholic Church. I would like for everyone to pray for this person so that she may find her way home.

  • This has been going on for over a year now.  My friend has TV from Bagdad and such.  She says that VIPs have been going away from Islam and are going Christian.  BUT even protestants call themselves Christian.  My friend says that there are those that are going through the Koran sentence by sentence to prove it is of no God, but is very evil/of the devil.  Now, she says they are going catholic, but we know it is not traditional as we know it.  There is talk, that those who are going Christian are being held safe by American soldiers.  So, IOM, those who are told they are being held safe, how do they know that will last, or is even true.  It is good news that this is happening.  Just be careful.  those of that region who wish to get out, are not allowed to come to the USA.  My friend has a brother and sister in Canada and a cousin in Peru.  She herself left when she was 20 years old and that was about 1990 to Chicago area.  That area of Chicago is with Muslims and if you are Christian they fight with you and spit at you.  If you convert from Christianity, the Muslims will give you $500.

The Chaldean Catholic church is the predominant Christian community in Iraq. It is a traditional Catholic community.

  • It is my own belief that up to 20 - 35% of Jєωιѕн people are "secret believers" in Our Lord.  They keep it to themselves because if they brought it up their own families would sit Shiva on them and treat them as if they were dead.

  • Yesterday two young men asked me for a rosary. I ask you to pray for their conversion.
