The flattery is good, in fact necessary. Although it shouldn't be verbal. Instead of laying down beside him and whispering, if something needs to be done do it. Talk is cheap. When you make his life easier because you love him and he's wonderful, then you become wonderful in his eyes. Better yet, help his children. If he's not helping his children with you he must be very exhausted, put his children first. Any sensible man would help.

I can't get behind laying in bed together awake. If your husband can't bare to be without your attention for long periods of time he's hormonally messed up.

All of these "tips and tricks to melt your mans heart" are egregiously manipulative.

What it tells me is, "I don't want to help my household function, I want to use my words on my husband because it's easier, better yet, I can't think of any myself so I'll use peer reviewed manipulation."

If your man wants to be spoon fed while you watch tom and jerry and you coo in his ear, he needs his hormones checked. If that's without your children that's even worse.

I am not married and am a young man. Let's let time pass and if I change once I'm married, I'll have the experience to know.

I tried it with my male cat. He flipped me off with his paw. I agree. I looked ridiculous.
:laugh1::laugh1::laugh2:
Now we know that it doesn't work on other species!

Anyway, my honest input is, they may work and they are just natural responses from typical women when they see someone they like. I said typical because I'm ultra shy and introverted. So I don't do any of these. I don't want to play tricks to attract men. If they like me they like me.

My wise grandmother told me "He doesn't want to know how wonderful you are; he wants to know how wonderful he is." If a woman knows her man is wonderful, it will emerge naturally.
In my culture there was an old meme of three magic phrases for women to get any man, as they can just rinse and repeat the same three phrases to anything the guy has to say. Those phrases are:
Quote
"Why is that?" Oh really?" "Wow, that's impressive!"

For example:

Guy: I got into espresso during lockdown. At first I thought coffee was just coffee, but then I learned how changing the grind size by a tiny amount completely changes the extraction. I ended up buying a grinder, then a scale, then a better machine...

Woman: Why's that?

Guy: Because every variable matters. Water temperature, pressure, dose, extraction time... it's almost like chemistry.

Woman: Oh, really?

Guy: Yeah! Sometimes two extra seconds can completely change the taste. I even roast my own beans occasionally.

Woman: Wow, that's impressive.

Guy: It saves money in the long run, too. Well... that's what I told myself before buying all the equipment.

Woman: Oh, really?

Guy: Yeah, I probably spent way more than if I'd just kept going to cafés.

Woman: Why's that?

Guy: Because every time you learn something, you think buying one more gadget will make the coffee even better.

Woman: Wow, that's impressive.

I get tired of the unmoderated and unnecessary tripe, snark, and insult on this site.
