  • I have found this interesting, about a man wrestling with a serpent.  Many say this that Ophiuchus the Serpent Holder and 13 sign of the zodiac; on Dec 21 2012 we will be in the constellation.

You can read a little about Ophiuchus at this link, http://tinyurl.com/2dbh6dz

but there is so much more about this mysterious 13th sign on the web.

I guess we who live another few years will soon find out what happens.

    Please pray for my soul.

  •   You might want to research further; that is what is so interesting about this sign, it only shows up every, I think the number is 26,000 years, and some say it will be here in 2012.  What I find interesting is the serpent.  As Catholics the serpent represents evil.

I probably shouldn't have even mentioned this since I am not an expert on such events, but read this months ago on other sites and found it interesting.

I would love it if someone more knowledgeable researched it and gave better detailed imput.
    Please pray for my soul.

  • As Catholics, we should not be obsessed with times and dates like the Fundies.......suffice to know, at some point the Chastisement, sometime much later, the Antichrist and tribulation...the date, time is not important, Faith and remaining in Grace are.....

You are so right about that, but my problem is I am just too too curious, when I read something like this 2012 thing going on.  It is a big distraction to me, I confess!

  • IMO, 2012 is all about the Purification (a name even the Hopis use).  FWIW, the full title for Our Lady as she appeared 400 years ago in Quito is Our Lady of Good Success of the Purification.  While the feast for her coincides with the previously-established feast on February 2, it is my take that this more 'recent' title is specially associated with the Purification process that has (clearly) already begun and which I believe will reach its zenith in 2012/2013.

While one should not be obsessed with signs, one should, in fact, read them.  They are given for a reason.  I do not fixate upon signs when I am driving, but I do read them and make use of the information they provide.

We have strayed, far and wide and over a long period.  God is going to reestablish the right ways, but the process will be painful.  Godspeed to all :)

  • And when it is done, won't it be wonderful.  Will it be like before when all the world was Catholic?

  • Yes, and hopefully this is when we will have a true pope, if all this comes true, I doubt the SV will have a problem giving up their kingdom as someone stated they might.

After all they will no longer hold to the SV position will they.

When I attended Catholic school (100 years ago  :faint:) one nun told us the first pope is named Peter, and no other pope will be inspired to take the name of Peter, but the last pope will also be named Peter.  I remember learning that, not doctrine, I am sure, just pious belief.

Speaking of prophesy, I have this on a piece of paper all ragged and torn, so my point is, I received this when I was in high school, in the late 50's but now it is on the internet, word from word.
