The nαzιs really liked animals, especially dogs. While it coould be normal and harmless, it can also quickly become psychopathic or sociopathic.

NewYork is full of people who have animals in place of children and guys with their masculinity on a leash!  There is also a homo version of the latter.  Yik!

We are supposed to not only endure those who persecute us, but also bless them. Looking to an animal to love over people because it is easier is most likely the first good symptom to let us know that we may have a character flaw.

And yes, I most certainly mean "we" as I have a hard time taking the Apostle's advice to heart myself.

I see we disintegrated into another nαzι thread yet again.

Well I have a soft spot for animals so I guess I'm just like those "evil nαzιs!"

And frankly it is the rest of the world that has a character flaw.

  • I find some animals more enjoyable than some people. But animals can only give so much satisfaction and then no more. I find a likeable person infinitely more enjoyable than the most enjoyable animal.

Aw, what cute little fellers, JohnAnthony!!! I can't tell for sure, are they Pygmy goats? Goats rank right up there in my list of favorite animals.
Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one's self unspotted from this world.

I see it as a strength as I see a soft spot for animals as a strength. For example, there have been horror stories from those south of the border of them cutting fences, slitting dogs' throats, and breaking down doors. I definitely see this behavior as criminal however the dogs that were protecting their owner deserve praise. For another example, every day these huge transnational corporations destroy the environment and dehouse animals. I have more sympathy for the animals losing their homes than that rich, greedy corporation.

Be careful with extremes. It's one thing to enjoy animals and other thing to actually prefer animals over human beings.  Animals have no immortal souls. Human beigns are created as Images of God. I find it extremely silly, not to say creepy, and a sure sign of the insane times we live in, when people start refering to their pets as children, for example. It's a very common and disturbing trend nowadays in the secular world.  These people are sadly confused and disoriented, usually very hurt by social disappointment, and very lonely. After love of God,  love of neighbor comes first.

Animals have material souls versus human which have immortal souls. When an animal dies it's soul ceases to exist. If someone ever ends up in hell you may very well envy your pet's material soul.

There are reasons why people may love their pets more than other people: loyalty, dependence, the fact that dogs and such do not judge you.

One of the nicest breed God ever created.  Obedient, loyal, protective and caring  to the end.  Great for Children.

Alright people don't start freaking out and calling me a wierdo or whatever but I just find animals more enjoyable sometimes. Maybe it's just me not finding the right people but people never cease to disappoint me with their backstabbing, with their false flattery, with seeing themselves as superior to you, with setting you up to get fired from your job, with their ungratefulness, etc.

My cat and my grandparents' Doberman Pincher however show intense acts of loyalty, care, gratefulness, uplifting you when you feel down, etc.

It depend on the animals and the people, but sure, I like my dogs better than I like a lot of people.  Maybe most people.
