Wealthy rural White landowners?  Of course they want rid of them if they don’t play along.  
The already dirt poor, like Appalachia?  No need to bother.  They’re doing a good job of killing themselves off with moonshine, opioids, no jobs, a useless educational system, crumbling infrastructure, lousy and virtually inaccessible healthcare, nonexistent dental care, petty crime, loss of morals, accidents, loss of old-time life skills, hopelessness, ѕυιcιdє, loss and absence of religious faith.

Viva, there was coverage.

Then you got the farmers most who have gone broke in our area. Especially. The dairy farmers.  They are importing tomato paste and frozen veggies from communist chhiina. And filthy diseased tomatoes too.
