  • I was surfing the Internet the other day when I saw a man complaining about feminism when this feminist came on and said, "If men just weren't so lazy women wouldn't have to work!" and that "Women work harder than men!"

Both are false by the way however let me repond to this feminist criticism.

What do you women have to complain about? You got what you wanted. You wanted to strip the man of all responsibilites of being a husband and father. You wanted to be in careers just like men. You wanted to lead just like men. You wanted to be in combat just like men (even though women cannot stand the terror of war like men can), you wanted to not have children, you wanted pleasure not responsibility when it came to 'relationships,' you wanted to have multiple men around idolizing you, you wanted to even have relationships with other women, you wanted to play men's sports, etc.

I could go on but you get the point. Women have nothing to complain about today's feminist society as it has given them everything they have wanted in a liberal (free) world. However just like blacks when it comes to slavery and reparations women can never have enough it seems and when you keep giving to them they just want more.

Let me now respond to the original statement. Men are "lazy" because men are feminized these days and turned into video game nerds by pur popular culture, and also because women have taken away a man's responsibility.

Let me add another thing as well when it comes between the differences between women and men. Men are more capable of hard work than women which is why women must have affirmative action to get ahead in their career, otherwise a man would beat them every time.

  • How hard would women work if they were expected to provide for men in a society where all the legal prerogatives of relationships belonged to men?

  • There are tribal societies, the Albanians are a good example, where the men put the women to work for them and women do most of the labor.

This is a result of a history of blood feuds where the men had to be in a constant state of readiness to fend off acts of vengeance.

    Weird custom:

  • Some men might be lazy.  But I've never known a woman to complain that men are lazy who WASN'T a worldly and aggressive feminist who felt the need to always prove how much smarter and more capable she was then men.  This includes Catholic women.

  • Most men I know are not lazy.  I know builders and manual labourers who work their socks off 5 or 6 days per week.

Men that are lazy rarely get and sometimes don't even want a relationship with a woman.

That said I actually like my job.  When I go on holiday and have to look after children for 7 days on the trot I cannot wait to get back to work.  It is hard work looking after children all day long.  I can do it very well in 2-3 hour bursts but 13 hours a day for 7 days per week is exhausting.

Go to any project or reservation in the US and you will find plenty of apathetic lazy men.

  • And lots of single women who don't want them or jump from one to another.

Laziness is a poor strategy for keeping a wife.

  • If tomorrow if all the unemployed men took the typical jobs available, materially, they are unlikely to be much better off (unless they are otherwise giving up crime as a livelihood).  Especially with regards to female companionship.

I wouldn't hold my breath for the illegitimacy rate to decline.

Unfettered markets could eventually lead to a situation where most workers are obsolete.

I don't understand, what does that have to do if they should seek honest employment?

It doesn't have to do with what they should do, but rather with what they have incentive to do.

If a man has to live like a pauper while working part-time in servile occupations that pay bare subsistence or less, it is hard see a strong incentive there.

Under Communism, it was probably the virtuous thing to be a hard worker.

However, there was not sufficient incentive to encourage work.

The point is, the practical motivations for work are the reason it is the moral thing to do - not the idea that work in itself is a good thing.

  • There are lazy men and women.  Period.  Sometimes I think I am not using my time efficiently.  For instance I spend too much time on forums.

If a man can pay for his bare subsistence himself without taking from the state or from relatives or friends - it's reason enough to make work very virtuous and make him more of the man. If he can't support himself - how can he support a family? If it is family life he is called for - it is right to move however slowly in the right direction.

And about communism... What do you know about incentives there? If one had to provide for a family there - being very very hard worker was the only choice. The trick was somehow work for the state or collective farm as little as possible while working your guts out (literally quite often) - after your full time work to feed your family. Hungry children is a wonderful motivator... It's true for rural USSR, but even in the cities there was no easy life for people who were lazy

In a society like America, it is based on greed, and therefore the State does not encourage businesses to provide a man a living wage to support a family. It is not as simple as, "Oh he doesn't make a lot of money, so he must not work hard!" In fact the worker works a lot harder than these rich types up on Wall Street whose only job is to obsess over economics and yet they rake in the billions of dollars.

I never supported "he is lazy so he must not work hard", however - if there is situation - "why work hard, it's not enough to support family anyway" - it is very lazy and should not be portrayed as a good set of mind for a man.

Men that I know - mostly work very hard for their families.

Obviously a man should work however my point is that America is a nation dominated by corporations, capitalism, economic liberalism, free trade, greed, consumerism, open borders, etc. and in a society such as that a worker is not going to be paid a fair wage, since the rich only care about their greed.
