Apparitions in the U.S.S.R.

    According to an article which appeared in the December 30, 1976, issue of the Italian newspaper "Corriere della Valle di Aosta”, Our Lady has been appearing often in the U.S.S.R. in recent times. The article has been translated here freely from the "Cavaleiro da Imaculada”, Oporto, Portugal, for the benefit of Maryfaithful readers:
...in Janovai Collectivized Zone, ...in Rostov, in Kharkhov,, in Leningrad, etc.

" the Mother of God is appearing in various parts of our fatherland in order to open our eyes. She wants us to pray more fervently to her Son so that the world may be saved from destruction."...

"The latest apparition is said to have taken place in a village only 40 kilometres from Moscow!
And Heaven is said to have announced that Mary will also appear in the capital city -- yes, in Moscow itself some time in the future! Moreover, as far as the latest apparition ίs concerned, a large crowd is said to have witnessed the apparition of Our Lady, which occurred on February 10, 1976 *, at the village of Tombow, about 40 kilometres south of Moscow:

"Α white hand appeared in the clear sky! It was holding a huge pen and wrote these words there:”

      'There is more evil than good in the world! It is Winter for my people!
Now is the time for repentance!
      No good soul will be left among the evil ones; and no evil soul will be left among the good ones! Heed ΜΥ warning!

Produce fruits of repentance! ***

      Ι will save the God-fearing! Accept your responsibilities! The time is very near at hand! Ι will return soon! Amen!'


"The hand wrote for about half an hour. The writing could be seen by everyone all over the City. It could be read for three hours. Thus a great fear filled all the people, who filled the streets, so that all the means of transport were paralyzed. Just imagine the uneasiness of the materialist leaders! Yet, from the fear of provoking a mutiny, they did not dare arrest the on-lookers, who were thus able to pass on the heavenly messages to the ever-increasing numbers of listeners....”

    The Kremlin authorities are at a loss as how to stop the large numbers of conversions which have resulted after all these apparitions of the Immaculate
Virgin. Thus they have been fabricating lies to explain away these facts. The latest fabrication is so base that, in the eyes of the people, the authorities are
becoming quite ridiculous, for they are claiming:

  ” The apparitions have been maneuvered by America. The C.I.A. agents have managed to smuggle into the U.S.S.R. a beautiful spy from Washington...or from Hollywood,...who can speak Russian without a foreign accent. "They have been
making her appear in various parts of Russia in a beam of light produced by α cine-projector. “

  The Russian people are clearly not gullible as to believe such a fabrication. Thus Faith in God and devotion to prayer have been spreading rapidly among the people so that the KGB is bitterly disappointed that it cannot send that "Virgin" either to a Siberian camp or to a mental asylum, as it would be able to do with any other real enemy of the regime.

  These testimonies have been compiled from various Russian clandestine newspapers which are very Christian and particularly Marian in their content.

*Perhaps the First vespers of the Feast of the Apparitions at Lourdes were being recited at the time...?,  where Our Lady wore a white mantle with a blue sash. Feb. 11,The Introit: "I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,...". The Communion: "Thou hast visited the earth..."
The Postcommunion: O Lord, may the right hand of Thine Immaculate Mother uplift us whom Thou hast satisfied with with heavenly food:..."

Also the very next day, Feb 11, 1976 is the day the USSR launched the first Delta III class submarine, K-424, from Severodvinsks. It had nuclear weapons...

Dec. 13, 2024 Russia might "test launch' its new "Oreshnik" ballistic missile, with reported speed of MACH 10 (just 7612 mph.)
