I wrote to you and you haven't responded to me at all. Did you even get my e-mail?

I am only an electronics hobbyist, but I'm pretty deep into it considering it's just a hobby for me. I'm also an Amateur Radio enthusiast (Amateur Extra class... google it).

See the meter in the pic below? I spent $170 on it. It measures RF and EMF. That's how "into" the subject I was for a while. I spent hours researching how I could block external RF sources from entering my home, bedroom, etc. I found out what towers we have in the area and stuff like that. During that time I had Ethernet runs installed in my house (had to hire someone to go into the attic), so we could lessen our dependence on WIFI. We still had a landline phone line at the time, and I ditched our cordless phones.

I was going on the assumption that being bombarded 24/7 with RF can't be a good thing, even though none of us are sensitive to it as you apparently are. At least I *think* none of us are sensitive. One of my kids had migraines, which stopped about the time I implemented various RF-mitigation measures, and taught my family that Airplane Mode is your friend.

I believe that some people ARE extra sensitive to this modern electronic smog, but that most people are just affected in minor ways, like attention span, fatigue, etc.

I learned everything I could on the subject -- I was even considering hiring myself out as a consultant to help people block RF in their homes. I spent enough time learning everything about the topic, that's for sure!

Anyhow, I'll repeat what I said in the e-mail: NO circuit of any kind is necessary to ground RF signals. Even less do you need anything more exotic like a Tesla coil, Free Energy device, perpetual motion machine, or the Fountain of Youth. (Please pardon my snarkiness here, it's just my personality and sense of humor). You just need the Faraday cage, nothing more. Depending on your budget, you can implement measures to shield your house, bedroom, or even just your bed! Getting "RF Free" recovery time at night while sleeping is the most critical.

There are metal screens that can go over windows, metallic tape, RF-blocking paint, sheets of metal, special cloth infused with metal fibers (sold as cloth, or pre-made into things like curtains, hats, etc.)

Creating any kind of oscillator circuit will LITERALLY generate RF! I couldn't tell you what frequency of RF unless I knew the resistor/capacitor values (if it's an R-C circuit) or the inductor/capacitor values (if it's an L-C circuit). You can also use crystals to create an oscillator. I know all about oscillators; that's the backbone of creating radio waves! I'm a Ham Radio guy, remember.

But back to your situation --

With a meter like the one pictured below, you can measure A) how much RF is in your environment to start and B) the effectiveness of any countermeasures you implement! It displays RF in mW (milliwatts) per square meter (easy converted to microwatts per square centimeter, another common way to express RF radiation).

Do you even own an RF meter yet?

I don't see how you can get anywhere on your RF-blocking journey without buying or borrowing one of these. Imagine trying to build a house without ANY kind of measuring device: no tape measure (laser or traditional), no ruler, no levels, no squares.

Anything electronic produces electromagnetic fields, and anything digital likely produces measurable RF even if that isn't the intended purpose. Computers, power supplies, especially high voltage systems like gas tube lights. Faraday cages are very effective, they use them around sensitive circuits in many complex devices. Put your cell phone in a cookie tin, and try calling it. It won't work. Just watch out for leakage through openings. My concern with real tin foil hatters is that their foil hat is actually a dish that focuses the EMF into their head since the shielding coverage is minimal.
