  • Hello! I've always been a huge fan of good coffee and it's been a goal of mine to start roasting all natural single origin coffee with Catholic aesthetics. I've been able to put something together which I hope coffee drinking traditional Catholics might enjoy. If you guys are into drinking excellent coffee and like the idea of it being tied into various Papacies throughout history, please give my roasts a try.
    :cowboy:

(Unfortunately for now I'm only shipping within the state of Indiana since I'm operating under my state's Cottage Food laws. I hope that with moderate success I can expand to a commercial operation selling nationwide, God willing).

When it can be shipped beyond Indiana, I will give it a try. We used to joke about the coffee at our church saying that when it was good, it had to be Protestant coffee and when it was bad it was Catholic coffee.  That's because it was always bad. Probably because Catholics care more about the content of their conversation than how their coffee tastes. Why not have both?
    Good luck in your endeavor!

  • If you could drop a little Mexican "coca" into the Leo XIII edition, I'm all on board.

Seriously, though, let us know when you can go outside Indiana.  You could probably ship it "under the table" where someone can Venmo or Paypal you some money and you could buy it for us and send it to us as if you were any other individual shipping food.

LOL That would be a great inside joke but then I'd feel obliged to advert the Leo XIII roast as "for body and brain when overworked! Tonic-Coffee stimulant that nourishes, fortifies and refreshes! Aids digestion and strengthens the system!"

Or Pope Leo's own statement about "Vin Mariani" -- "For when prayer just isn't enough."  :laugh1:

  • Depending on where in Indiana, it may not be a bad idea to drive the 4/5 hours there and buy it in bulk.

Thank you for the kind words. It means a lot. I'm definitely trying my best to get a great product which is worthy enough to even be associated with Catholicism. God bless!

  • Yes, I would definitely be interested when available outside IN.

The coffee at one chapel I attended was so bad that parishioners would actually go down the street to a coffee shop after Mass, purchase there, and then bring it back to the church to drink while socializing.

Interesting concept. You know what they say "A cup a day keeps the heretic away".

I don't drink coffee (lot's of people have an attachment) but if you ever ship internationally I may buy as a gift for others.

No offense, but why did you use the name “papist”? Protestants use that word as a derogatory term against Roman Catholics.
For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his own soul? Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul?
