Hi everyone! I created an Android app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tradcat.sanctusapp) with the aim of preserving and promoting the traditional aspect of the Catholic faith. I'm no Android expert, but I think the app does the job. Take a look and I hope you like it. Mystical Rose, pray for us!

Cool. Downloaded. So it's basically an android front end for divinumofficium.com?

Wrapper or front-end programs are lame.
For example, an app that loads tutorial videos from a website to play them on the app. Unless the content is ALL in the app, offline, it's not a real app.
Basically, some apps are like yesterday's websites.
I hope that's not the case for this app.

I tried to make as much of it offline as possible. Only the missals and Divine Office require an internet connection and are taken from https://www.divinumofficium.com/.
Initially, I wanted to make that offline too, but it turned out to be a lot of work and demanded knowledge of the Tridentine Rite Calendar throughout the centuries which I currently don't have.
I agree with you that ideally, it should all be offline, but it is what it is.

There is an offline version you can download, but it's rather large IIRC.

I wasn't aware of it. I'll take a look. Thanks for the info
