Roger Owen got in contact with me. Just wanted to let everyone know.
As for the e-mail situation -- just know that many ISPs reject all e-mails coming from my server. There's a long technical reason for it. The short version is, many ISPs do a thing called a "reverse lookup" and for my server, the result is "THIS EMAIL COMES FROM A SERVER ON RESIDENTIAL INTERNET, LOCATED IN A PRIVATE HOUSE" so they assume it's a spam machine, perhaps an average Joe's PC or laptop with malware on it, and so they block everything coming from it. It's actually a good strategy for mitigating SPAM e-mail sending.
My IP address IS from a residential internet provider. My server is in my house. But close to 100% of professional e-mail services reside in a datacenter somewhere -- not in someone's house.
If I were to pay 4X more for my Internet, for a "business plan", my ISP would set me up so my e-mail would work better. But I obviously can't afford that, and can't justify that expense.
