    • In the Gospel of St. John 3, we read of the converted Pharisee Nicodemus. It so happens that this Christian convert has left us an account of Christ's descent into hell and the manner in which He communicated the merits of His Passion to the ot patriarchs to heal them of the last remnants of original sin tainting their person.

    • This question is worth re-examining and it supports the theory of St. Augustine, of Fr. Feeney and others; namely, that the grace of justification, the first necessary grace for salvation, is often bestowed on the soul before Baptism through Baptism of Desire. But the grace of final perseverance, the last and sufficient grace that completes salvation, is bestowed on the person after the Sacrament of Baptism. It seems to be a striking confirmation of that theory that we have some ancient sources in Tradition that say those waiting in Limbo were apparents the recipients of the sacrament of baptism in some extraordinary way, after which they went straight to Heaven.

    Those in Limbo fell under the Old Law, so Baptism was not required for them.  If they received some sort of "extraordinary baptism", this is not in any way related to the New Testament, or BOD, or anything of the sort.  It would simply be a spiritual fulfillment of the Old Testament circuŠ¼cision rite.

    Asking other laymen nobodies for speculation about a quote from a fallible non-canonical book. 

    I'd suggest the OP get busy with his money earning work, if he has any. If not, get busy finding one.
