Mocking Sacred Scripture doesn't change the fact that the necessity of baptism,
and the necessity of water for baptism, are both de fide. As Trent says, the requirement of water MAY NOT be wrested into a metaphor. The statement that there is salvation without water baptism is objectively heretical.
If any one saith, that true and natural water is not of necessity for baptism, and, on that account, wrests, to some sort of metaphor, those words of our Lord Jesus Christ; Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost; let him be anathema.
