Let's talk about who's on "my team", as you called it.
Honestly, I don't care if you want to believe in BoD. St. Thomas and St. Alphonsus and St. Robert Bellarmine did. I'm not going to criticize you for following their opinion.
There's a poster here named Nishant who rails against "Feeneyites", but I've never once called him a heretic for his opinion regarding BoD ... because the way he states his opinion leaves intact defined Catholic dogma.
And, most of all, let's take Arvinger. I see Arvinger as a kindred spirit. He believes in Catholic ecclesiology, the requirement for belief in Jesus Christ and the Holy Trinity for salvation (which by the way St. Thomas and St. Alphonsus also believed, along with ALL the Church Fathers), and the necessity of the Sacraments for salvation.
I consider Arvinger and St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Alphonsus to be on "my team". With regard to BoD, I see that as a product of speculative theology that, although it had become widespread, cannot be proven from revealed dogma. I have never seen anyone convincingly prove BoD as something that necessarily flows from revelation. I personally do not see the need for it. Consequently, as a matter of personal opinion, I do not particularly believe in it.
You, on the other hand, are NOT on my team. You reject Traditional Catholic ecclesiology and have adopted modernist Protestant/Vatican II ecclesiology. You promote Pelagianism. You shamelessly reject Trent's dogmatic teaching that the Sacraments are necessary for salvation. You have in fact openly rejected the dogma EENS. Even many of the V2 modernists try to at least pay lipservice to EENS by claiming not that one can be saved outside the Church but by expanding and redefining various modes by which one can be within the Church. You and your heretical clown buddy claim that there are "exceptions" to EENS even though one of the dogmatic EENS definitions used the term "absolutely", as in "absolutely" no salvation outside the Church. If there was ONE THING that Trent intended to teach regarding CATHOLIC ecclesiology (vs. the emerging heretical Protestant ecclesiology), it was that the Church is a VISIBLE SOCIETY whose members can be easily identified, not some amorphous amalgam of members who are only known to God. You reject this wholesale. You are nothing but heretical Protestants. You are an abomination to me. Begone, Satan. If an angel were to come down from heaven and teach that there are exceptions to EENS, I would declare him anathema. Much less the likes of yourself.
