The 5 conditions needed for the laver of regeneration
1. The one administering the sacrament
2. The one receiving the sacrament
3. The words
4. The water
5. The intention of both the one administering and the one receiving
These conditions are implicit in the term laver of regeneration.
Take away even one condition and there is no laver of regeneration.
False. Readers might notice how you conflated two elements in your point 5 that do not belong together.
Let's try again, this time correctly.
1. The one administering the sacrament2. The one receiving the sacrament3. The words4. The water5. The intention of the one administering
6. The intention (and proper dispositions of) the one receiving
1-5 suffice for the valid administration of the Sacrament, and thus the laver.
6 is also required for justification from the Sacrament.
If 1-5 occur without 6, once 6 is added, the Sacrament is not repeated and the soul then enters a state of justification (and of course Confession would be required for the sin of having received the Sacrament of Baptism without the proper dispositions).
I hold that the laver refers to the valid administration of the Sacrament, and that's why Trent cites Our Lord's teaching (echoed in Titus 3:5) that the laver AND the Holy Ghost are required for justification by the Sacrament. If the laver includes 6, then it also includes the activity of the Holy Ghost, which would make it superfluous for Our Lord and Titus 3:5 to have referred to water AND the Holy Ghost. There would be no distinction between the laver of regeneration and the regeneration of the Holy Ghost, as the latter would already be included in the former.
