  • I think that LoT needs to be banned for this behavior.  After all, bowler was banned for doing the same thing.  In order to bump his threads, he takes his original OP and starts to re-quote it paragraph by paragraph.  Newsflash ... no one is reading those long blog posts of yours; when people see the length of it, they simply roll their eyes and move along (of the 5 people that actually go into the BoD sub-forum to begin with).

In the Firmiter, the first chapter of the doctrinal declarations of the Fourth Lateran Council, we find the following declaration: "There is, then, one universal Church of the faithful (una . . . fidelium universalis ecclesia), outside of which no one at all is saved (extra quam nullus omnino salvatur)." [Denz., 430.]

You forgot to add your Fenton disclaimer:

"...outside of which no one at all is saved..... unless they don't know they need to belong to the Church".
"But Peter and the apostles answering, said: We ought to obey God, rather than men." - Acts 5:29

The Highest Principle in the Church: "We are first of all under obedience to God, and only then under obedience to man" - Fr. Hesse

That is another form of spam and should be prohibited.
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

  • I simply quote truth because as you say "no one' reads the whole short article but they will read small quotes.

This is a Catholic forum I should be able to quote small portions of a larger docuмent so that it will be read.  Like this for instance:

    Quote
This formula bears a singular resemblance to one contained in the profession of faith prescribed by Pope Innocent III in 1208 for the Waldensians who wished to return to the Catholic Church: "We believe in our hearts and we profess orally that there is one Church, not that of the heretics, but the Holy Roman Catholic and Apostolic [Church], outside of which we believe that no one will be saved." [Denz., 423.]

"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world." Saint Thomas Aquinas the greatest Doctor of the Church

Only if it's relevant to the current train of thought in the thread.  It's obvious that you do this just to bump your own threads, and that's unacceptable forum behavior.  It's obvious because you'll see about 7 or 8 threads that you started all bumped within minutes using this same technique.  We may be dumb Feeneyites, but we're not stupid.
