    • I do not understand why after all these years the strict EENSers keep responding to Lover of Truth (LOT) as if he were seeking truth. How can any of you still take him seriously? He's been asking the same questions and receiving the same answers for years now. Is it not yet obvious to all of you what he is doing?

    • I could supply you with a lot more quotes of equal authority that would appear to counter that.  That is why I depend on the theologians, Doctors and Popes who have read and understood ALL the quotes, in context, in the original language, understanding the distinctions and when they are speaking in a general or strict sense to provide the proper interpretation rather than uncharitable and outright hateful untrained bloggers to do so for me.  You might want to try it.  This is helpful in being able to accept Truth as it is rather than to cater it to your preference.

    Hardly.  I recognize the existence of authorities who have a contrary opinion to my own.  Unlike yourself, who claim for instance that the Church Fathers are unanimous in favor of BoD.  That can only be said by filtering out all the dissenting opinions.

    So, given that there can be arguments made on both sides, I try to evaluate them both.  I find the arguments against BoD much stronger than those for.

    But you refuse to engage in the actual logical argument.  You simply paste in text from authorities who happen to agree with you.  How about engaging in theological argument for a change?  I guess, though, that you are not competent to do so; that's why all you have left is your cut-and-paste jobs.
