I don't need to know about BoD or to care about it. I only know what Trent teaches, that the SACRAMENT of Baptism is necessary for salvation.
I believe that God will provide the Sacrament to anyone who truly desires it, yearns for it, and longs for it. Ask and you shall receive. Period. It's really that simple. God has worked many miracles to demonstrate that He can and will provide the Sacrament to His elect.
Church has never defined a BoD; nowhere has the Church taught what must be believed about this nebulous concept. All I see the Church and the Fathers teaching is that the Sacrament of Baptism is necessary for salvation. Belief in BoD does absolutely nothing but to erode this belief. If in the next life I find in heaven (God willing that I make it) people who have been saved this way, then glory be to God. But belief in this means absolutely nothing in this life and can only cause harm. It is THE theological speculation that has been used to undermine EENS and Traditional Catholic ecclesiology. At the very least, it's absolutely inopportune to continue promoting it during these days of mass apostasy. Did little harm in the days of St. Thomas, St. Robert Bellarmine, and St. Alphonsus when everyone still believed in EENS. Today it's a different matter entirely.
