@PaxVobis - I'm still interested in this question?
Families were divided even while Fr. Feeney was living. There is the story that Bobby Kennedy rushed into the St. Benedict Center and yelled at Fr. Feeney, "Who are you to say that my Protestant friends at Harvard are going to hell?" Of course, the Protestants are going to hell if they die that way! Families have been divided since the time of Adam and Eve, and certainly since the time of Christ.
The greatest error in the modern world today is this watered down idea that one can be saved without being a Catholic. And trust me, 99% of the people in the Novus Ordo believe that there is most certainly salvation outside the Church. They will brag about there being salvation outside the Church.
