Spread that bod knowing it pacifies people and ultimately prevents heroism for bringing Baptism to difficult situations.  What a winner!

The book is nothing but a compilation of the works of saints, doctors, popes, council's, etc.
Most of whom, by definition (of sainthood), were heroic Christians.

I love and respect the saints, but Catholics know that when a direct contradiction arises along with deadly fallout the contradiction is causing, along with the perennial teachings of the Church denying those outside the Church can be saved, the saints must fall silent.  Bod is destroying the missionary mandate, making people put hope in an empty promise that cannot be proven and has certainly been condemned in canon law.  Metaphors cannot save, justify, forgive sin or wash clean. Pretending it can and promoting that as an alternative to Baptism sets up a false religion de facto.  There is no need to further bod.  It won't benefit anyone by doing so.

The argument is for a BOD is an argument against the dogmatic decrees of the Catholic Church, who ever quotes saints, doctors etc. are behind the times because "Roma locuta; causa finita est" -

Whoever saith that the sacraments are not necessary unto salvation, let them be anathema. - Trent

Even the most rabid BODers admit that a BOD is not a sacrament.

The argument for a BOD is an argument against the dogmatic decrees of the Catholic Church.
