There's been an outrageous amount of content lately coming out of the woodwork against Fr. Feeney, and the vast majority of it is straight calumny and false history being pushed from that Jєω propaganda book on his compound... Let's set aside BoD, EENS, implicit faith and everything for a bit. There's a coordinated push against the late Father. Why now? Sedevacantism is growing so the implicit faith crew is getting more activated? I don't even think this is exactly it because most of what's getting leveled at him on Twitter etc isn't even theological in nature.

For the record I am not a "Feeneyite", I am an "EENSer" and thus genuinely think BoD is a non issue compared to the dogma upstream of it. I do not have a horse in the BoD race.

It's becoming apparent that he was one of the last thoroughly orthodox Catholic priests. EENS is a dogma. Jєωs, Muslims, et al are not saved unless they convert, which means they cease being Jєωs, Muslims, etc. Period. I agree that BOD is a whole different issue. But for many trads to jump on the anti-Feeney bandwagon as if he were some villain is asinine and honestly diabolic.

There's a dangerous trap here, too. Fr. Feeney's holiness is inversely proportionate to +Cushing's. This is similar to the +ABL and "st." JPII dichotomy that XavierSem had problems with. You can't say you are explicitly "the opposite" of Fr. Feeney without being a +Cushing fan. When I've asked trad priests about it nobody wants to own the outrageous garbage +Cushing was spewing in the open. You cannot say they were both right in the same sense that you cannot say JPII is a saint and +ABL was saintly. There's a doublethink here on a lot of people's parts so a lot of trads are falling into Americanist ecclesiology without seeing it. I don't even see the point to discussing BoD when there's a problem this big taking it upstream to the next recursive level is the logical thing to do.

I have not noticed anything of this content coming out, but back then, using all manner of calumny against Fr. Feeney, the dogma was plastered all over the world in all the various media outlets for essentially the whole world to see and know that there is no salvation outside of the Catholic Church, so that back then at least, basically no one in the whole world could plead ignorance of the dogma. 

But if it is again coming out of the woodwork, then perhaps Our Lord decided that it's time again for this dogma to be presented before the people for their conversion, or so that in eternity they cannot plead ignorance?
