    Question ...  Where did the Term "Fenneyite" Originate, ?

                                What does  it mean... Define the Term..

  • When I see that name, "F", I see it as those who were against Father Feeney.  I read the Boston Heresy Case and found it very interesting.  Fr. F saw communism in the college and had the right idea to combat the errors.  I do believe that when the parents were separated from the children, that that was a wrong decision, but other that that, I do believe that Fr. F did right when he combatted error.

    It means someone who follows Father Feeney and his doctrines. Father Feeney denied baptism by blood (martyrdom) and baptism of desire, which directly opposed the Church's dogmatic teaching on baptism.

    This is false.  Father Feeney believed that the omnipotent One and Triune God would bring the character of sacramental Baptism to each and every one of His Elect, which would always include a true martyr of the Catholic Faith.
