:wine-drinking: There is no such thing as a 'Feeneyite'.
You are going to have to face it, roscoe. The Church has always allowed Catholic to freely make up words to quickly represent what a type of person, does or believes, that is unique. A person rides a motorcycle, and he is a motorcyclist. A man drives a car and he is a motorist. A woman is employed to use a typewriter and she is a typist. A sedevacantist believes there is not a true pope at the moment.
A Feeneyite is a person who follows Fr. Feeney who condemned other Catholics as heretics if they believed the same thing as St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Alphonsus Ligouri, St. Bernard, etc. etc. etc., yet exonerate all those same Saints from being heretics for the
exact same professed and taught belief by saying they were "not infallible". Well, the Catholics of today are not infallible either. Feeneyism is idiotic, and heretical. I truly feel sorry for the Feeneyites like I do people brought up to be Baptists. Very difficult for them to shake off the errors.
