:fryingpan:

“The most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jєωs and heretics and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless before death they are joined with Her; and that so important is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those remaining within this unity can profit by the sacraments of the Church unto salvation, and they alone can receive an eternal recompense for their fasts, their almsgivings, their other works of Christian piety and the duties of a Christian soldier. No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he abide within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church.” (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441.)

I agree.

What's your point?
"Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof." [Matt. 6:34]

"In all thy works remember thy last end, and thou shalt never sin." [Ecclus. 7:40]

"A holy man continueth in wisdom as the sun: but a fool is changed as the moon." [Ecclus. 27:12]

This really makes you think about how bad an Eastern Orthodox service is. Pretty much everyone profanes the Eucharist when they receive.

This certainly undermines “soul of the Church” BoDism.  Only those who remain in the unity of the ecclesiastical Body, i.e. members of the Church, can be saved.  It couldn’t be any clearer.

"The Soul of the Church" is probably the worst realm of the implicit, so a hiding place for any kind of heresy that can be trotted out while looking benign to casual observers. It's not like anyone who really holds to it will change their mind ever looking at dogmatic pronouncements though because they live on the edge.
Regard all of my posts as unfounded slander, heresy, theologically specious etc
I accept Church teaching on Implicit Baptism of Desire.
Francis is Pope.
NO is a good Mass.
Not an ironic sig.
