I can't seem to get you to answer my request for this definition, nor can I read your posts from your profile to see if you might have replied on another thread besides the one in which I asked. Thanks.

Perhaps this sub-forum should be on the bottom of the Crisis section rather than the top.  Matthew himself says it is an unimportant issue.

The answer will be whatever that person who is giving it, believes it to be.

I wrote the poem "De Feeneyismo - Iterum". My views and definition should be clear enough.

I'm not going to waste time discussing it here, or I'll get "pulled in" and that would be bad.

I must say, it was exhausting to see how many threads have been created over the years. I can't argue with such consistent demand for that topic. I don't understand it myself, but I shouldn't be subjective.

But what I can (and did) do is keep it all in one place. Some people can't stand the topic (for good reason!) and this addresses their legitimate complaints.

I'll leave you with the closing lines of the updated version --

So all you Catholics heed now what I say,
And strive to do God's holy will each day:
Take care of family, work and also pray,
and study well the errors of today!

Waste not your time and argue with your peers,
hawk Feeneyism like you work at Sears,
For if you take this path for twenty years,
On deathbed you will find yourself in tears!
