  • That isn't a question. Pax has shown to be capable of entering into a rational conversation.

  • LOT, it is apparent that you don't want to have a rational, intellectual discussion...you just want to argue.  Whenever I ask a clear and logical question, trying to get your insight, you respond in an immature and conversation-halting way.  I'm done with you.
He's an idiot. I think it is some kind of machine that answers. Let him post all he wants, no one understands his mental gymnastics anyways.

Hopefully he's an idiot, for the fires of Hell burn brighter the more sin is bolstered by deliberation. (Please note, primarily, Lat. "libera" root.)

Nobody? You sure? Then why are we talking? Oh, right, because we keep feedi ng him nickels so that he can shovel attentionalcherries.

I do not think anyone reads any of LOT's threads or for that matter, that anyone goes into the "Feeneyite" section because it is all composed of his postings. He had long ago now worn out his welcome and has established himself as a nut case. Without LOT there would be no "Feeneyite" sub-forum. Nobody on CI reads what he writes except a few people who see the strict interpretation of the dogmas on EENS as a rebuke to their belief that all people of "good" will are saved. I think that amounts to LOT and just two other persons.

In the air warfare they have a material called chaff, a radar countermeasure in which aircraft spread a cloud of small thin pieces of aluminum which swamps the radar screen with many false targets, thereby hiding the real plane. LOT is just spreading chaff on this EENS forum.

    Exhibit A of feeneyite theology.

  • I'll ask it again.  This is THE CRUX of our debate...

Quote from: Pax Vobis on Today at 10:46:34 AM
    LOT said:
... The logical conclusion and dogmatic fact and that one in a state of sanctifying grace goes to heaven.

    Pax Vobis said:
The Church teaches that BAPTIZED, justified catholics go to heaven.
The Church does not teach that un-baptized, justified persons go to heaven.  She also does not say they go to hell.  She doesn't say they go anywhere.  So we don't know...

I say they go to limbo, since they are not baptized.  You say they go to heaven, just because they are the state of grace, but that contradict's Christ.  I really don't know, but neither of us can say with certainty.  Do you agree?
I see the question now.  I do not agree, but I base this on what the Church teaches.  You are in full accord with Feeney and is a step up from the modern feeneyite.  I say this matter-of-factly, not as a cut down.  There was much good about Feeney.  Monsignor Fenton liked him and was pulling for all things to work out for him temporally and eternally as all good Catholics would.  He was right to fear the universal salvation heresy.

  • The remission of guilt is not possible without the infusion of grace.

You I have respect for.  But I tend to skim through all the hatefulness and don't read it much.  Typically I do not read anything from Ladislaus unless we are going back and forth on a real discussion for instance.  But usually Ladislaus cannot post more than three times without calling me a name of some sort.  So he is basically on ignore without being on ignore if you know what I mean.  This is the case with others as well.

Did you say anything or ask anything in a respectful way to me?  I would be quite willing to discuss things with you rationally as I have before thought I do not think you want to discuss what Bellarmine and Alphonsus have to say which forces me to enter into the discussion with one hand tied behind my back.
