Our Priest, Father Anthony Marie Short was ordained in the Traditional Rite of Ordination in 2014 by a valid Bishop. The Monastery only offers the Traditional Latin Rite Mass (as found in a 1945 St. Andrews Missal).

Here is a little guideline of some things off limits to Catholics: (some of these things could be done in a less serious way, so keep in mind that absolution and Communion are not refused a person for venial sins). True Catholics in the state of grace may come to communion.

Wherefore, all the members of the Carmel of the Immaculate Heart of Mary reject the Vatican II sect, its antipopes and all its heresies, new and old such as "baptism of desire".

We reject the heresy of "Baptism of blood".

We reject the heresy that Mary, the Mother of God is "Co-Redemptrix"

Seem like full fledged Dimondites..calling the Co-Redemptrix title "heresy", several links to MHFM videos/website. I've never seen the Dimond Bros mention them, which is interesting

Smoking cigarettes is not per se sinful at all.  Not the best habit to get into, and there is such a thing as taking it to excess, but there is nothing wrong with a cigarette once in awhile.

This is one of the things on their list that they say Catholics are forbidden to do.

One wonders why they don't just include the name of the "valid Bishop".

Yeah, that is strange. Fr. Short was ordained in the CMRI so it must have been +Pivarunas. My guess is that those in Sparta hold +Pivarunas to be a heretic and are attempting to distance themselves from him

Fr. Anthony Short, CMRI was born Caleb Short on July 22, 1990, in Littleton, Colorado, to Lee and Annette Short
and was baptized on July 27. He received his First Holy Communion on May 3, 1998.

Having been homeschooled for his primary and junior high years, he entered St. Joseph’s Minor Seminary in
Rathdrum, Idaho as a sophomore until the completion of his high school studies.

In 2008, he transferred to Mater Dei Seminary and entered the Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen as a postulant on February 2, 2008. On September 8, 2008, he was received as a novice, taking his religious name Anthony Marie. One year later, he took his first vows on September
12, and took his final profession of vows on October 7, 2013.

At Mater Dei Seminary, he completed his studies in the various branches of Philosophy, Moral and Dogmatic Theology, and Canon Law, advancing from clerical tonsure, through the minor orders and major orders towards the priesthood.

In January of 2013, he returned to St. Joseph’s Minor Seminary in order to assist Fr. Benedict in classes at the
seminary and at the school, in distributing Holy Communion and in various other tasks.

It looks like Fr. Short was at some point working with Fr. Crawford, who I believe either left the CMRI or was expelled due to rejecting BOD
