    Yes, the modern view has inverted this, as in that openly Pelagian statement I recently heard on EWTN that you're basically saved unless you commit an actual mortal sin.

    • Being a faithful Catholic is much more than attending a Latin Mass.  The Novus Ordo mass does not reflect the Catholic Faith, especially regarding the seriousness of sin and the sacrifice of Our Lord being offered.  I grew up in the Novus Ordo and it is not the Catholic faith it is a new religion centered around man. I can't see how anyone can be saved clinging to those errors anymore than any other heresy.  On the other hand, attending a Latin Mass without holding and defending true doctrine, not putting our faith into practice everyday will not save a soul either.
