  •  Here's where users can post their own artwork. Again, since this IS the internet, post at your own risk. If there are restrictions you want on your work, please post them with the work. Again, all skill levels welcome, so long as the art is (morally) decent.

  • Center of Hearts
    -Dulcamara

This actually makes a very nice wallpaper for one's computer desktop. I put my icons around it, so that Christ is the center of my desktop. ^_^

I'm using it myself, and invite everybody else to use it for their own desktop if they'd like.

    Please don't redistribute it, though.

  • I didnt draw this, I just thought it was a nice picture. This was drawn by GENZOMAN. This picture is of Shiro Masuda of Amakusa the leader of the Catholic Shimabara rebellion in Japan in 1637. I'll post an article on this rebellion later. Please do not redistribute. Go ahead and download for your desktop.

  • Here are some portraits of St. Francis de Assisi with his beloved animals. I got it from my sister whose favorite saint is him.

  • Just for the heck of it, this little gallery are my 3 completed paintings so far and one work in progress. I only started out this past September.

There is a little bit of background on some of them at my blog.

  • Oh gee, most of them are horrible... Ooops, sorry.

Perhaps you could do a Georges-Pierre Seurat something???

I really like those kind of arts.

The sample is here - and was posted by you:

    Thanks for the honest feedback.

I paint what I like and for now, it involves dark and strange moods.  It might change.

She's just a silly little girl who thinks good art is a "pretty" picture  :laugh1:

You're pretty talented.  I can't post any of my paintings, because I can't figure out how to get a decent picture of any of them.

  • She can dislike my pictures... in fact, she can hate them.  I'm fine with that.

As far as talent goes, I'm pretty happy so far.  Mixing colors and getting what I want out of them is the most challenging aspect.  I enjoy blending colors and getting some gradation.  Thats the most enjoyable part as far that I'm concerned.

  • Hi Joan,

It's true this forum section is for religious art generally but I interpreted this particular thread to be general.  I got that from the disclaimer that started the thread.

If my pictures do not belong here, by all means, they can be removed.

Funny enough, with all this talk of reverence and fearing god, this is precisely why I do not do religious themes.   I feel that my results would not be reverent enough.
