 It seems this post had been dead and many pictures were not viewable. I'd like to share some paintings, not really religion-related.

I did these both 8-10 years ago when I was coming out of the NO and started  attending the Indult. (No longer at either one!)
They were sculpted in clay and poured in bronze.
I never had an art education but I was always inclined towards art and sculpture- these were my first ( and my last) real pieces.
Looking back, I would have done them differently. Maybe I will have a chance in the future to do just that.
Most Traditional priests that have seen the bust of Our Lady took it to be a more modern representation.. a little too current and worldly looking- I can see that now.
Our Lord (side view here) I still like, but from the front has a head tilt- not a strong image " Christ the King" ( My NO was showing) More like  the sorrowful Christ.
Anyway, technically I think they are pretty good, but I can no longer work in bronze as it costs thousands of dollars a pour. ( only one of each was ever casted) I still have the molds from the original clay, however.
Someday I will go back to it, God willing.
.
I think both are truly beautiful, thank you for sharing.

Good thread. We got a thread for Catholic art, and one for Catholic poems, but why none for Catholic stories?

Do people here hate Catholic stories?  Or do they believe stories are useless? Yes, seems that people here believe stories are useless.
In fact, stories are not useless, they are a great tool.
