The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima is one of my favorite movies from childhood.

there is now a remake of the fatima story, called ' The Thirteenth Day '

The one made in 1952 is also my favorite. Every time it would come
on TV I watched the movie with a since of awe. In the early 1960's
the movie had not made it to TV but shown in the movie theaters
and the theaters were always packed with Catholic Children from the
surrounding Catholic and Public Schools, and many stayed to watch
it a second and third time.
This movie is about as close you will get to the message of our
Lady of Fatima, and the conditions of Portugal at that time.
Does that Communist ruler of Portugal look just like Lenin of the
Communist Revolution in Russia.
A movie like this will never again will be produced in the American
Cinema because of the total Jєωιѕн control that will not allow it.

We like the Song of Bernadette. Even Turner Classic Movies stated that it was in the top 5 of his movies.

Nothing beats the 1952 version. It could not be duplicated today even from the best of
the so called Catholics. It shows the spiritual decline of the faith. I gave a DVD copy
to my niece after her First Communion, standing and in the hand. I heard after
watching it she threw it away.
You feel that sanctifying grace is no longer in the church. Just a collection of people
meeting at a mason hall once a week.

Just a bunch of people "meeting at the masonic hall once a week."

I can't believe that a little girl would throw out such a holy movie that was given as a Holy Communion gift. What a spoiled brat.
