  • I present to you some more music of the 15th century by Fr. Guillaume Dufay. Three of the songs were composed during the course of events related to dealings between the Catholic Church and the Byzantine Empire in an attempted reunion of the Eastern schismatics with Catholic Church. The last piece is about the resulting fall of Constantinople in 1453. I post these in light of the feast days of St. Josaphat (November 14) and St. Andrew (November 30) this month.

  • Wow, these were truly beautiful. I love everything about Gregorian chant. It has to be one of the most beautiful forms of music.  :pray:
