  • Any of the books by Fr. Anthony Cekada or Fr. Rama Coomaraswamy!

  • Thanks for the recommendations!  Unfortunately, no Fr. Cekada or Fr. Coomaraswamy books seem to be on there

TAN Books is no longer the REAL TAN Books of the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. The imprint was purchased by St. Benedict Press, which discontinued so many of thd best TAN titles.

Does TAN even carry those anymore?  I'm pretty sure that they went conservative Novus Ordo.

No, these days, I don't think you're going to see TAN selling titles by either of those two authors.

We use TAN for the Baltimore Catechism #3 in homeschool (which my son just got completed, he got an 81% B-minus on the final, could have been better, but still a decent grade per traditional grading standards) and The Story of Civilization series by Phillip Campbell.  In all honesty, the final volume of that series, on US history, is kind of puerile, and I've had to supplement it with other material, including Dr Frank Freidel's American History in the Twentieth Century, which I used in my senior year of undergraduate school.
