  • Hello friends,

I have started reading the autobiography of Saint Therese, Story of a Soul. It is wonderful! However, while researching the book online, I discovered that, apparently, there are two editions of the book: one that is the authentic copy and another that is an edited copy that was heavily edited by her sister.
Have any of you heard of this? Is this actually true? I don't even know how one can tell the difference between these two editions. Which one ought a Catholic to read?

I thought there was only one version, and her sister helped collect St. Thérèse's papers, collating them into book form.

Yes, I think that's right. I liked the "Last Words of St. Therese" even better than "Story of a Soul".
