Beginning Prayer

Mighty Glorious and Heavenly redeemer, We beseech
thy aid to honor thy son Jesus who did die for all
of mankind and we who sinned need to realize how
we must all carry our cross. How sorry all of us
need be for the love of him who bore all for the
Gates of Heaven to opened and the chance for our
salvation. O good Lord Jesus help me to walk thy
path that i may for thy namesake be brought to
paradise with thy Holy Mother Mary, Forgive me
for all my slow response to reparation for my sins.
Help me back to the graces of thee should i be in
serious Mortal sin. Aid me to have thee in me once
again in pure Sanctifying Grace with Heavenly light.

First Station: Jesus is condemned to death

Verse---Holiness of Christ
bless all of us sinners.
Response--Thou carried thy heavy
weight of our sins for all of mankind.

Pilate sentenced thee to death. All were silent
and none came to aid thee. Help us O Savior to aid
us when others have abandonded us and left us alone.

In thee o Perfect and loving Jesus we see how our sins
blight our mind and cause our charity to grow cold. Put
back in to our souls the flame of living love and let
it renew our life as the Apostles instilled in the early
fervor of Christians in the beginning of thy Church.

Heavenly Father forgive us always, even more so
when we do not deserve it, that we may show true
compassion as did Jesus who showed us the path.

Second Station: Jesus carries His cross

Verse---Holiness of Christ

Response--Thou carried thy heavy
weight of our sins for all of mankind.

Carrying such a heavy cross was much, Yet the heaviness
of our sins was so much worse. Thou endured all yet it
was carried with peace,mercy,love and most of all sorrow.
In this the trueness of a Christianity the Martyrdom was
what thou bore and yet it gave us the greatest gift of
thee, Thy Holy Sacrifice which is remembered for all time.

We often forget and take little care to make up for the
time the damage and the loss of honor we have caused to
our life and others. Help us to carry our little crosses
and ever more the heaviest one to be battle for our life,
and set the best example to others that they see thee O
Jesus in all our words, thoughts, and deeds as thou showed
for all men, women and children. Never us let us go,ever!

Third Station: Jesus falls the first time

Response--Thou carried thy heavy

The weight of our sins made it so heavy for thee to
carry yet in thy weakness thou strove on for the love
of all of us. So worn down tired and a strain in the
early journey to Calvary the deadly hate of all mankind
bore so heavy on thy shoulder. None cared to aid thee
none cared to spare thee some of the torture of all ,
yet thou got up again with all those calling thee hate-
ful names, making fun of how holy they thought thou wert,
and blaspheming in thy face the most disgusting obscenities.
Help us to carry our cross when it is heavy as this O
Most Merciful Jesus Christ. I a horrible sinner fall with
so little a cross and cry of the easiest of things. I
know how weak i am when i see thee in this condition. Aid
me to be reminded consistently to remorseful over all the
pains i have caused thee and others. Let me make reparation
for all i failed to do, Most merciful Savior forgive me.

Often we wish to do things and not spend the time needed
we ought to. We work for our self and do not care about any
one else. Let us be reminded how thou worked 30 years taking
care of the family first before taking care of the world. We
need to care for what is important. Not for looks, not for
vain glory nor for worldly possessions. Help us to detach us
from these things and meditate clearly on thy Passion and
the Glorious Holy giving of thy life for all. Never let us
be so forgetful not to say thank you to anyone, let thee O
Jesus my Christ. Help and aid me even when i have not the
words well and also to help others when they have not asked
me in the right way. Let me be merciful as thou wert unto me.

Fourth Station: Jesus meets his mother

Verse---Holiness of Christ

Response--Thou carried thy heavy
weight of our sins for all of mankind.
 
Consider how painful, for the Mother of Our
Savior Jesus, felt seeing her Divine Son
suffering so painfully, for the sins of the
mankind. Jesus seeing Our Blessed Mother was
also heart torn because of how much she was
attached to true love, for the salvation of
souls. We often forget seeing those we love
hurts us most. Never forget how much God gave
us in our parents, they suffer as they love us.

O beloved Saviour the pain thou undertook was
to clean our souls of all earthly attachment.
Let us linger upon how much thou gave us in
giving all thou had for each one of us sinners.
We often need recall how much the Virgin Mother
of thee was a mirror image of thee and suffered
like thee as much as she humanly could. The love
she gave is more than we are worthy and should
venerate our Queen for she truly is the one woman
who suffered the most pain of all female kind. I
know it was sin that tore thy heart apart as thy
Son, Jesus. Help us never to offend thee and to
keep thee in my heart for ever and always.

The Fifth Station: Simon Helps Jesus Carry the Cross

Jesus thou wert so tired that they had to find someone
in the crowd to help thee bear the cross thou hath been
given to take to Calvary to die. Many did want to wait
to see thee go through a most horrible dying and wanted
see the suffer even more.
                           O merciful Christ help me to
always be reminded of how i need carry my cross daily and
let me never be weary of asking thee for help to bear with
it. Let me carry the cross that can help me overcome my sins
which are offensive to the and help others by good example.
In doing so i wish to repent fully of my sins and be cleared
and clean by thy tender love and tears. Let thy Holy Sacrifice
keep me on the road to holiness.

The Sixth Station: Veronica Offers Her Veil to Jesus

Verse---Holiness of Christ

Response--Thou carried thy heavy

Oh tender Saviour, Veronica was filled with sadness
and sorrow for how much affliction thou wert undergoing.
The love from her to give thee her veil to wipe thy face.
Then the thou left thy Holy Face imprinted upon it to last
forever to shine for all ages, thou truly suffered for all.

Thy body was perfect and unblemished and yet thou wert
flogged and torn apart inside and out from our sins. My
life was given to me in Baptism and my soul was as white
as snow. But my sins disfigure it. Clean me whole once
again and let my soul be pleasant before the Almighty
Heavenly Father. In confession my soul is renewed and
my life with thee. Help me to avoid serious sin always.

The Seventh Station: Jesus Falls the Second Time

This next fall hurt thee all over again, O caring
and loving Jesus, we did not even give thee time
to rest since our sins are so many.

The weight of sin brought the to thy knees O my
Lord Jesus. How much must of all the evil mankind
had done to thee to have to wear thee to such a
humbling experience for thou wert pure and innocent.
None of it was thy fault only ours. We did this and
we were not sorry for it. Bless me over my terrible
and pitiless actions, that We may, with thy bountiful
graces and merciful love forgive our selves and begin
to love thee and not think we are better without thee.
For hell alone should terrify us never to offend thee,
let alone think suffering is inevitable. Let be able
to suffer patiently, quietly and with true peace as
thou did. We must ask for thy aid, when feeling weak.

The Eighth Station: Jesus Speaks to the Women

Verse---Holiness of Christ
bless all of us sinners.
Response--Thou carried thy heavy
weight of our sins for all of mankind.

The women on the road to Calvary saw thee in such
a weary and worn out state. Such pain and agony with
each step thou took, they cried tears of sorrow for
thee with benevolence. Weep he said not for me so much,
rather for thy children.

O Savior burdened with anguish, let us weep for the
sins we have committed that hurt thee.  Most of all
for the dissatisfaction it did cause thee. Thou all
pure having all these evils plaguing thy soul. Always
forgiving us does mean we run back to our sins. We
need complete in our repentance and the full giving
to thee and others as thou showed along the road to
thy most painful death. The mark of thy sufferings are
never to be forgotten, for this is what helps me with
thy love to weep tears of my own over my sinfulness.
Aid me to live the true path and with thee to the
road of my cross that I shall not quit on it as thou
did never quit on any of us and the cross thou bore.

The Ninth Station: Jesus Falls the Third Time

Verse---Holiness of Christ

Response--Thou carried thy heavy
weight of our sins for all of mankind.

We must reflect deep on the fact that thou fell a 3rd time
for our sins. We often go back and forth being strong when
it is easy and weaker when tested. Thou never gave up caring
for us whilst suffering. Severely tested and so much loss of
blood as the Crown of Thorns penetrated thy Sacred Head with
such weary vision thou could barely see. When we lose sight
of thee O Magnificent Jesus, through the Sacraments of the
Church, renew our souls with vigor to help us and replenish
our souls.

O insulted Jesus, death was awaiting thee and yet thou
did not stop to think of thyself.  Help us when feeling
low, as not to stop, being completely united to thee.
Bless us in our trials that we overcome with thee in
Sanctifying Grace. Let our souls be a flame with mercy
to those who hurt us, since we hurt thee even more by
our sins. We need to concentrate and thee and thee alone.

The Tenth Station:
Jesus Is Stripped of His Garments

Thy Sacred Robes were torn off like thou wert a slave,
Taken off like a prisoner who committed severe crimes.
Innocent and Divine,treated harsh, that flesh came off
because thy robes were bloodstained. Since they were
attached to thy Sacred Body it hurt ever more so. We
need to be ever ready to shed our selves of our way and
surrender to thee. In doing so we shall be blessed well.
Then by standing for thee,in thy name,and thy Church we
can be True Christians of the faith. For thee we shall
live, and we sinners beseech thee aid us!

The Eleventh Station: Jesus Is Nailed to the Cross

Verse---Holiness of Christ
bless all of us sinners.
Response--Thou carried thy heavy
weight of our sins for all of mankind.

Put to the cross, O' our Savior wert nailed. Thy body
put out like a criminal. Thy innocent blood poured out
for our salvation and we often forget it. How much thou
loved us that thy image would be remembered of a sacrifice
for all to adore with thy image being perfect in every way.

O Jesus that thou wert detested for being our Savior. Let
our hearts be with thee at the cross as well. Never let us
leave and make it stay forever with thee.  Aid me to love
thee more than I do myself. Help me to have sorrow for all
my offenses. Linger upon me, that I show this example, to
others, and for my life to change unto thee O'Christ.

The Twelfth Station: Jesus Dies Upon the Cross

Response--Thou carried thy heavy

Death hit thee as the Crucifixion finally took thy life.
Jesus thy body was mocked at even while their on the cross
for 3 hours. Our sins did this and we are the ones who should
be paying the price, not thee Pure and spotless as thou art.
My hope is in thee Jesus since thou gave us thy life and the
Gates of Heaven were opened.  In doing this the Holy Sacfrice
of the Mass was given and our lives forever changed because of
it. Help me to die with the and go to Heaven upon me death. I
am not able to save myself on with thee am I capable of anything
good and pleasing to the Heavenly Father. With the Holy Ghost the
energy of thee O Holy Trinity will compose me as needed. Let me
be taken out of my mindset, and be one with Jesus forever.

Holy Blessed Mother how with Saint John the Apostle thou stood
before thy son. He asked his beloved friend to take thee in before
he passed away and take care of thee since he would no longer be
able to. His kindness was perfect and never thought of himself 1st.
He cared unceasingly and showed it even in his death. Let us recall
one day we shall die to and to where shall we go. With great fervor
O Christ aid us to be determined to follow thee and be with the light.

The Thirteenth Station:
Jesus Is Taken Down from the Cross

Verse---Holiness of Christ

Response--Thou carried thy heavy
weight of our sins for all of mankind.

Taken down off the cross thy Mother held thee with the most painful
tears a Mother can ever have. Seeing thee in this state we should be
ever more grateful to the gift of life. Sorrowful Mother since thou
art close to thy son Jesus, bless us and guide us to him. We are in
need of thy loving care as a Perfect Mother can give. I wish for thy
gentle tender hand to soothe me as a child. Let my love be innocent
and love Jesus as thou did on earth, to the best of my ability.

Heaven opened up mercy upon us sinners by the death of Our Savior.
He gave his life and shed his blood. In doing so he gave us the
Sacrament of Holy Communion. The most complete union he can give to
us here in this world. Let recall this as i may ask of thee Jesus
to have thee in my heart and obey thee. Let me sin no more and be
aware of my past deeds that i repent totally for them.

The Fourteenth Station:
Jesus Is Placed in the Sepulcher

Verse---Holiness of Christ

Response--Thou carried thy heavy

Then thy Sacred burial took place. The Apostles,then with the Mary
Immaculate, aided in the burying of Our Savior Jesus. Then they went
to seal the tomb and left it that way.

O good Jesus how that thou wert buried like a commoner. The King of us
being treated worse than a peasant and even worse a criminal. Thou soon
were laid to rest after such horrible suffering. We need recall that ,
thou resurrected soon after this, and be with thee totally united. I wish
on our last day, to be with thee in Paradise. Thy will, is the only will
that matters, as long a I live,let me obey thee my Master. I wish to love
thee and only thee and let me forget about my way of life to please thee.

PRAYER TO JESUS CRUCIFIED

Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus,

hope and charity,  * with true contrition for my sins

You get a plenary indulgence when you make the Stations of the Cross

You get a plenary indulgence when you PHYSICALLY WALK the stations erected in a church (or attend the public devotion)
OR
if you qualify to pray them at home reciting the Pater, Ave and Gloria 20 times: 14 times for the stations, 5 times in honour of the 5 wounds and once for the Holy Father to gain the indulgences.  An Act of Contrition is required at the beginning.

No pope has ever given an indulgence for "make it up it's good enough" no matter how good your intentions might have been.  Think humility.

Some things in tradition are very specific and as the Stations of the Cross is the most highly indulgenced devotion of the Church it's not someting to fool with.

God save us from the liberals !
