Here's a poem written out of frustration with the entire pacifist mindset. Feel free to share it with any pacifists you may know personally. But don't post it on the net.


A SHOT OF REALITY

Welcome to the REAL world
this isn't nirvana!
You want all to put their weapons down
but THEY DON'T WANNA!

You want them to love EVERYONE
but your enemies HATE YOU!
You want to coddle gangsters
but they don't appreciate you!

You want to pass laws
TO MAKE THE GOOD DEFENSELESS!
The criminals will laugh at you
'CAUSE THAT'S JUST SENSELESS!

The good lay their guns down while
the bad REFUSE TO!
You want to be all nice to them
so they just USE YOU!

You can make a million laws
but THEY'LL DEFY THEM!
The only ones to suffer are
the ones who ABIDE THEM!

Can't make a world of peace that way,
just a world of VICTIMS!
Where the good are defenseless
the bad will COME AND GET THEM!

And on the world stage
it's the same thing, only MORE-SO!
The evil preying on the good
IS EXACTLY HOW WARS GO!

You demand they put THEIR weapons down
BUT THEY WON'T DO IT!
If you put YOUR weapons down
YOU MIGHT NOT LIVE THROUGH IT!

You want to sit and talk peace
but they want to KILL YOU!
And if you give your weapons up,
THAT'S WHAT THEY WILL DO!

A zillion people out there
DON'T WANT TO PLAY NICE!
If the good lay down their weapons
it's THEY who will pay the price!

Lambs laying down with lions may work in HEAVEN,
but WE'RE NOT THERE YET, SO STOP PRETENDIN'!

Here's a shot of reality for all of you PACIFISTS!
You can't make the BAD be GOOD
NO MATTER HOW YOU WANT THIS!

The bad people out there
won't be how you want them to!
They're going to come after us
'CAUSE THAT'S WHAT THEY WANT TO DO!

For every brilliant mind
making laws and preventions
another brilliant mind
will make up ways to CIRcuмVENT THEM!

You can't make the bad love peace,
NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY!
If they want their evils bad enough
THEY'LL fight for it TILL THEY DIE!

Disarming the innocent
just makes RIPE VICTIMS!
The police CAN'T BE EVERYWHERE!
the army's INSUFFICIENT!

When people can't protect themselves
THEY CAN LOOSE THEIR FREEDOM!
If all you have to use is words,
WHO'S GONNA FREE THEM?!

You can't stop the march
of the evil that way!
Welcome to reality!
