  • Dear MariaCatherine;

I am looking forward to when the last line of the following prophecy is fulfilled:

    Abbess Maria Steiner (d. 1862)

"I see the Lord as he will be scourging the world, and chastising it in a fearful manner so that few men and women will remain. The monks will have to leave their monasteries, and the nuns will be driven from their convents, especially in Italy. . . . The Holy Church will be persecuted. . . . Unless people obtain pardon through their prayers, the time will come when they will see the sword and death, and Rome will be without a shepherd.
The Lord showed me how beautiful the world will be after the awful chastisement.
The people will be like the Christians of the primitive Church."

Where is the love, even amongst Trads? Look at the way some people speak to each other on CI! Worse than even traditional common decency demands amongst pagans.

How different it will be be in 10 years or so after the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart!

I just want to be a little boy again and be not afraid to be so!

    God bless!

  • Thanks for your blessing, andysloan.  May God bless you too.

Be that little child, and fear not.  Fights and infights can stop with you, if you let them.
What return shall I make to the Lord for all the things that He hath given unto me?

  • Revelations to St Gertrude

"Then from the Gloria in excelsis to the words Primogenitus Mariae viginis matris, she began to think that the title of only Son was more suitable than that of first born, because the Immaculate had only brought forth this Son, whom she merited to conceive by the power of the Holy Ghost; but the Blessed Virgin said to her sweetly: Call My Beloved Jesus My first born rather than My only begotten, for I brought Him forth first; but after him, or rather by Him I have you His brethren and My children when I adopted you as such by the maternal affection which I have for you."

  • There are good and bad reasons for being sad.  I think yours is a good one.  But the faithful shouldn't stay sad, unless the saints are mistaken.

  • You are right MarieCatherine.

Sad where love is violated; but joyous in the love of God:

    Psalms 99:2

"Sing joyfully to God, all the earth: serve ye the Lord with gladness. Come in before his presence with exceeding great joy."

I think you put the C in catholic.

God bless you and your family!

  • Quote from: soulguard
    Its not very good. :stare:

    Hey Soulguard,

The Nativity is really large, and so it's very difficult to see how well it was painted in the tiny online thumbnail.  A lot of detail gets lost, making the image look more graphic than painterly.

In other words, small paintings or drawings look really good compared to big ones.  You need a professional photographer to get photos that reveal the quality of large paintings. Big  Abstract paintings look better in photographs than figurative paintings.

  • To Elizabeth,

It's charitable of you to elucidate for soulguard. However, regrettably his response was not a matter of appraisal, but rather impertinence. Thus he is undeserving of your indulgence.
