Oh, there are lots of Carnival songs....:jester:  
Trouble is, most of those tunes and the carousing that ensues are cause for a 40 Hours Devotion in reparation. :fryingpan:

The Von Thronstahl took me back to a song by the Angelic Upstarts from back in the day (way back in the day). Back when Solidarity and Lech Walesa were the headlines.

How about Chant by The Benedictine Monks of Santo Domingo de Silos? That album of Gregorian chant went double-platinum and spent more than a year on the Billboard 200 chart (peaking at Number Three) after its release in 1994 — thirty years ago this week, in fact. The album's popularity also led to a couple of sequel releases during the '90s.
