When I was a kid I had a really great comic book series on Dominic Savio and St. John (Don) Bosco.

Soulguard- Yeah I'll put some on my blog when I get the issue together. I still have to scan and assemble everything. It's not a story that serializes very well. But there are some parts that stand alone pretty well.

ggreg-Were those european comics? Non-English in origin? I'm curious.

These comics look interesting. Picture books are great for kids, and actually, they have a lot of power with adults... like me!! HAHAHA (Get it? 'Comics'?)

Do you think that referring readers to Fish Eaters is still a good idea?

The Saints comics look very good! I would like some for my home and to offer to the school library! I wonder if you could make them available for the UK.

I have paid for some by paypal but it probably won't cover postage...what should I do?

Neil- I haven't thought about it in a while. I think the main site is a great one stop shop for someone unfamiliar with tradition. Is there a better place you could suggest?

Kate- That's great! I usually just send the stuff and let you know the shipping cost after the fact. Then you can pay what you like of it.

It's a good question, but I haven't read FE for a long time, ever since they started going loopy with the new egoism thing. It seems that someone going there would be turned off to Catholicism with all the personal insults flying around.

I could recommend Catholicism.org because it's a very reliable site, with lots of good news about things in the Faith. Their mission is the CONVERSION OF AMERICA, and you can't do that by giving a bad example. A lot of converts have come into the Church because of their work.

You might find other sites that boast of 'converts' but be careful, because it might be into the Newmass and Newchurch that they are leading people -- The New Oxford Review and Liguorian and Catholic Answers come to mind, also ChurchMilitantTV and EWTN. They might pay lip service in the general direction of the CTLM (Canonized Traditional Latin Mass) but their principle object of worship is the "Ordinary Form," which is frankly a lie, as it's not what we are given by tradition (they think that a mere 40 years of 'tradition' constitutes Tradition).

You don't have that problem at Catholicism.org, where they only have the Traditional Latin Mass.
