    Today I am a malcontent -

      Just examine this Nativity scene showing the Baby Jesus on a bit of straw but ON THE GROUND! I mean, where is the TRADITIONAL MANGER? The manger is quasi-necessary at Christmas time:  "manger" from the Latin word "MANDUCARE (eat).  Meaning : is where hay is placed for consuming by cattle etc ..Our Lord likewise is placed in a manger as a sign that we will eventually consume Him at communion...The hay can contain wheat...bread is normally made from wheat :" This is the bread that came down from heaven" Jn. 6:58.  Where is the halo for Our Lady?  Swaddling clothes?

    Traditions are important!

    • While I hate to defend the neo sspx, it looks as if they have an image by the same artist at the beginning of the article so used a Nativity scene by the same artist as the first scene for consistency’s sake.

    Also, of all the neo sspx’s problems, this is pretty far down the list.
