  • I did a comic in Chick format intended to combat a misconception about Catholicism. Check it out, tell me what you think.

  • it was a good comic strip... but I guess FE is not a good site for anxious Catholics or persons who want to know the faith.

Thanks, guys! Thanks for the spell check, spelling's not always my strong point.

Joan Schlastica, what site would you suggest? I'm not to big on Catholic Answers, so I wouldn't do them.

  • Nice comic. Except I wish it was really that easy to make those Prots see the truth. I once met a Prot who refused to admit that Mary was the Mother of God. I broke it down to him into a formula that was as simple as 2+2=4. Yet he still refused to admit what was so evident:

ME: Mary is the mother of Jesus, right?

    HIM: Yes.

    ME: Jesus is God, right?

    HIM: Yes.

ME: So then, Jesus is the mother of God

    HIM: NO.

ME: But if Jesus is God, and Mary is the mother of Jesus, that that means that Mary is the mother of our God Jesus

HIM: But Mary is not the mother of God!

I think this is where the "pearls before swine" comes in!  It is just impossible to deal rationally with someone who rejects an obvious truth.  Also, in a sense that person is sinning because it is a sin against nature to intentionally reject that which is obviously true (our minds are naturally ordered to truth).
