My debut 12&up fantasy novel
« on: Today at 11:47:11 AM »
I published my debut novel this month, which I wrote firstly for Catholics in Junior High and up (boys primarily, given the dearth of such fare...), but really for anyone who enjoys a zesty, youthful yarn filled with adventure, humor, and glorious action.

My goal is to deliver the fun escapist goods that one gets from a "Harry Potter" or most Marvel / Disney properties, while reinforcing traditional virtue, especially masculinity and chivalry. It's time to Make Christendom Great Again!

The story is set decades after the Great Calamity. Slayer Knights bearing supernatural weapons fight against sorcerers, monsters, vampires, and all forces of evil---but only one hero can wield the EternoSword and vanquish Sorcerer Khaqan for good!

The world is overtly Catholic, the bright, optimistic neo-Renaissance of the 2080s.

In all humility: every young adult you know NEEDS this book! Adolescents simply need entertainment, do they not? But where are they getting it?!

I provide it in a context that will make them love Christendom, while not brow-beating them with doctrine. I love my story and characters; I'm not trying to smuggle in the Gospel beneath an insincere veneer of phony worldbuilding. Rather, I aim to delight readers with a wonder-filled adventure that you won't want to end.

It's also for reluctant readers; anyone who wouldn't get through a page of Tolkien, considering it's plodding density, feeling like it's homework (as I do to this day, truth be told). Click the link above and read the opening for free!

Lastly...sad it needs to be said....I'd sooner die than use A.I.! I paid three different artists for a wonderful map and many drawings.

Goodness gracious, no idea why the font is so obnoxiously large, forgive my newbiness!
