So now I know that the thing Katy Perry does, "wo-oh-oh-oh-oh", has a name, viz. the "millennial whoop".  I thought she just ran out of lyrics and was making random sounds.

She's a quite talented vocalist and she could do better than that.  Too bad she doesn't use that fine voice to make good music.
