  • I've been training with prolobe for nearly a year and seem to be practically stuck on level 13 (though I'm getting close to passing, still I can't predict when I'll pass)

Anyway, this training has made my experience of music completely different.  I have a much greater and finer appreciation of music than ever before.  I recommend anyone interested in music to practice ear training.  It really makes an extraordinary, unbelievable difference.

  • Mis-interpreting the Bible and labeling those you disagree with as heretics (Jansenists, as you call them) even though they aren't in heresy nor do they submit to Jansen's heretical teachings.

  • How have i misinterpretated the Bible? I cannot recall referring to anyone specifically as a 'heretic'. I have used words like in heresy or heretical.

  • You say that MJ is Blessed by God when several different people here have refuted your claim. As far as calling people heretical, you call them Jansenists. That's calling them heretics because Jansenists are heretics.

  • This is the Bible verse you mis-interpret.

Gen 9:3-- '...even as the green herbs have I given them ALL to you'.

Below is a quote from LordPhan who refuted you on this.

"Falsely interpreting the Bible is heresy. That passage was spoken in reference to the previous line that you ommited about flesh meat. The word herb was never used the way you are using it now.You are using modernisms to misinterpret what was written many years ago."

Here's what else he had to say:

"holera virentia is what you are arguing. virentia would be "greens" in reference to plants and holera is what is translated in the DRB as herbs but only be used in reference to vegetables or plants one eats.

The council of trent makes it quite clear the reason that the mass must be in latin and the bible must stay in latin is because living languages change with time leading to misinterpritations as you are doing here. You are reading it how you want it to be read. This is the error of the protestants.

It has NEVER been a matter of the catholic faith that you could consume anything just because it was green. Next thing you know you'll be arguing that it is ok to drink tea made of hemlock(Ya know what the greeks used to kill people or commit ѕυιcιdє) It is a green leafed plant. Heck poison ivy is green too, maybe you'll argue that people should be able to smoke it regardless of it's effects?

You have no basis in your argument, you are preaching like a protestant and attacking good devout catholics who are attempting to correct you from using a hallucinogenic weed which causes one to lose reason. That in itself is sinful."

  • True, because your response will be the same thing it is every time. Look roscoe, I wouldn't really mind you posting here if you stopped talking about pot. How about stopping the pot promoting, ok? People here have been kindly pleading for you to for months now. It really gets old.

It's actually been a couple years rather than months.

  • Roman Catholic Bible-- Gen 9:3'......even as the green herbs have I given them ALL to you'.

The puritanical, jansenist(WCTU) Prot Bibles use the singular herb. Therefore if one is a Prot, a scenario where  :smoke-pot: is illegal is Possible-- but only if one is a Prot.

  • Just because God blesses a specific herb does not mean that you should smoke it. What makes you think, Roscoe, that this is the purpose for which God created this herb? On the contrary, any plant or herb which alters the state of mind by smoking it is clearly not meant to be smoked.

  • Beer is made from a plant and alters the state of ones mind. There has Never been Any Church Authority cited that proscribes using Any green herb. Contrast that with the 2 Infallible Papal Bulls that have condemned tobacco( the filthy brown herb) use to the point of ex-communication. U have No case.
