Not sure if this was the section for this but here goes.
A few months ago a friend suggestion I register with this site, it really is a lot of fun. Last month I won 3 times, but lately my humor is in the tank. Oh well!
The point is, it is a great mind exercise and once in awhile you can even post something profund when it fits. You probably won't get any votes for profund thoughts but who knows you might have planted seeds.
Each day a new cartoon in shown and you write a caption for it, but before you can enter your caption you vote on 5 other suggestions that others have submitted. It is really easy and doesn't take much time out of your day.
For example the caption of today, I wrote "Remember man, thou art dust and if God doesn't get you the devil must"... I knew no one would vote that, but it was my chance to say something profound. Usually I just post something funny and that is when the votes come in, but every once in awhile I think of something with more meaning.
I just thought I would share this site with those reading here who enjoy doing this sort of thing, and this month of April, the owner of the site is encouraging us to try to get new people, so feel free to use my name if you register. (Myrna) It really is a lot of fun and something to take your mind away for a few moments of the crazy world we live in.
