Do you have them in your library?

What language if so?

I was only aware of the Loreto edition in English, but recently I have become aware of the Hodges translation published in the twenties and possibly others (in English)

What do you know about the translations, obtaining them, price ranges, etc?

I wish I had all of the tomes in question!

I have the English translation of the Commentaries upon the Gospels published by Loreto Publications.

I have the Latin text of the Commentaries upon the Gospels, Acts, the Epistles of St. Paul and the Apocalypse of St. John in Latin. I have also the Latin text of the Commentaries on Proverbs, Wisdom and part of the Canticle of Canticles.

I think all of the Latin texts are available on Google Books as PDF files.

I do not know of the Hodges translations.

I know Dr. Mossman translated the Commentaries upon the Gospels and the Epistles of St. John, and other Anglo-Catholic scholars did I Corinthians and Galatians. Their names escape me for the moment. These are also available in PDF form.

There are I am thinking a good number of folks out there who wish some other helpful souls would get to work on a translation of the Commentaries for the Old Testament.

A tremendous work, but one which would be greatly appreciated. In the past perhaps devout religious might have taken up the work, if they had the sanctity for it.

In these days, on the other hand, it does not appear that translation type wikis have taken off yet, at least as far as I can see. What I mean is, wikis devoted to having passers by translate portions of the posted texts page by page, and so group collaboration speeding up the process.

Perhaps in the future, if things do not collapse, this will become more popular.

I desparately want the commentaries on the Apocalypse *in English*

One a related note, where is the place I can acquire any English translations (online)? Where should I look (I'm not looking for the pdfs)

I can't help you with an online translation, but as far as good ol' paper-and-glue editions are concerned, have you been to BookFinder? If you haven't, go there, enter <Cornelius a Lapide> in the title field, and wait about twenty seconds. The results number in the high hundreds, at least. Lots of them are anything but cheap, but at least you'll acquire a sense of what's available above ground.

Claudel, sorry for how I wrote that. I *did* mean paper copies, just that I want to *buy them* online (I didnt want to go to rummage sales or drive to a bookseller).

I will check bookfinder. Hopefully some are in English. I very much want to see Fr. Lapide's exegesis of the Apocalypse of St. John!
