  • Hi - I was wondering if anyone would be able to recommend a good pre-VII book on history.  I am wanting something that covers things like the Crusades, the Inquisition etc.  The book should be something that the SSPX might use in classes to teach Western History from a Traditional Catholic perspective.

I haven't read much of Belloc, but he has a book on the Crusades.

  • Guggenberger's history is very good.  It is three volumes and out of print, but you can find it used, online.
