  • There's a book written by a man named Eustace Mullins named "The Curse of Canaan" that delves into this kind of thing, however:

    1. The man was mostly a researcher of secular cօռspιʀαcιҽs (such as the federal reserve), and he was a Protestant. Meaning he is theologically untrained and the work is littered with heresies (for example, he seems to imagine that there is a "pre-Adamite" race, as though Adam was not literally the first of mankind.)

    2. The book isn't referenced very well so it's hard to go from reading it to the original sources.

That said, the man is not the virulently anti-Catholic type of Protestant. Here's all the times when the word "Catholic" is mentioned in the book.

    Quote
The later Masonic assault upon the Catholic Church was largely dictated by the fact that it was headquartered in the city of their most ancient enemy, Rome, and therefore the papacy became to the Phoenicians the modern embodiment of the force which had destroyed their most important headquarters.

    Quote
Because of the numerous Papal Bulls which had been issued against Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ, Pike and
Nemmi resolved that the papacy must be destroyed. The Bulletin of the Grand Orient of France, September 18, 1885, called for the destruction of the Catholic Church.

Monsignor Dillon was perhaps the first person to perceive that the real power behind the
Communist movement was that of Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ. He wrote in 1884 that the New Age actually is
built on the desire for the coming of a New Messiah, a false one; that the Temple of Solomon
was destroyed in fulfillment of the prophecy of Christ, and the Grand Orient and the Scottish
Rite Lodges were the source of modern revolutionary activity. Pope Leo XIII denounced
Masonry as Naturalism: "The ultimate aim of Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ is to uproot completely the whole
religious and political order of the world which has been brought into existence by Christianity, and to replace it with another in harmony with their way of thinking. This will mean that the
foundation and laws of the new structure will be drawn from pure Naturalism."

Abbe Lerudan [a Catholic] had written in 1747 in Amsterdam: "The real secret of Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ is disbelief in
the Divinity of Christ and replaced with Naturalism or the doctrine of Rationalism which was
preached by Socinus in Poland." Oliver Cromwell, the regicide of England, was a Socinian by
belief; the made it possible for Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ to formally organize in England. Napoleon, whose
    brother Joseph Bonaparte was Grand Master, was believed by the Masons to be too powerful;
Bernudotte, a Mason, persuaded him to launch his disastrous campaign against Russia, which
led to the destruction of his army.

    Quote
Because of its well-advertised revolutionary program, Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ has been repeatedly banned by European government-but never in the United States, where it has exercised political power since 1776. It has been repeatedly denounced by the papacy. Holland banned Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ in 1735; Germany in 1738; Zurich in 1740; Berne in 1745. Russia first banned Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ in 1792, again in 1822, and by the Soviet Government in 1922. On Apri128, 1738, Pope Clement VII issued "In eminenti," which condemned Masonry for its naturalism and its demand for oaths. Benedict XIV condemned Masonry in his "Providas" edict, May 18, 1751; Pius VII in
"Ecc1esiam," September 13, 1821; Leo XIII, "Quo graviora," March 13, 1825; Gregory XVI,
"Mirari," August 15, 1832; Pius IX in six separate edicts dating from 1846-1873; Leo XIII, five
edicts condemning Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ from 1882-1902. Gen. Pike responded by terming the papacy
"a deadly, treacherous enemy" in his letter to the Italian Grand Master Timoteo Riboli. "The
Papacy has been for a thousand years the torturer and curse of Humanity, the most shameless
imposture, in its pretence to spiritual power of all ages."

Despite these edicts, the Catholic Duke of Norfolk became Grand Master of English Masons in
1730; the Catholic Viscount Montagu, the ninth Lord Petre, who was the head of English
Catholics, was also the Grand Master of England from 1772-77. On March 19, 1902, in the fifth
of his edicts condemning Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ, Pope Leo XIII said, "Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ is the personification
of the Revolution .... whose aim is to exercise an occult overlords hip upon society and whose
sole raison d'etre consists in waging war against God and His Church." What a pity that Pope
Leo XIII did not know about the Curse of Canaan, or that Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ was simply Satan's
rebellion against God, which was being carried on in the twentieth century by his descendants,
    the Canaanites.

    Quote
The second Marquess of Ripon resigned as Grand Master in 1894 and joined the Catholic
Church; he was treasurer of Queen Alexandra's household (wife of King Edward VII) 1901-
1923; he was brother-in-law to the Earl of Pembroke, and he married the widow of the fourth
    Earl of Lonsdale.

    Quote
In the forty years since Mayer Amschel persuaded the Elector of Hesse to let him invest his
fortune (the money paid him by King George III for the Hessian mercenaries who were intended
to crush the American revolutionaries and maintain control over the American colonies), the
Rothschilds had come a long way. They had parlayed the Elector's money into a worldwide
fortune of their own. Until that stroke of good luck, they had been by no means the most
important family in the Frankfurt moneylending hierarchy. There had been a considerable
Jєωιѕн contingent in Frankfurt-on-Main since 625 A.D. In 1265, a covenant was signed which
allowed them to remain. However, in 1614, the Judengasse was sacked. Some 1390 Jєωs were
living there at that time. In 1615, the gates of the Judengasse had been posted with the warning,
"Under the Roman Imperial Majesty and the Holy Roman Empire's Protection." In 1715, there
were some 415 families in the Judengasse, of whom 109 were moneylenders; there were also
106 hardware dealers; the remaining families were engaged in second hand clothing or fruit
businesses. Of the twelve wealthiest families there in 1715, the Speyers were the richest, having
a fortune of 604,000 florins; then came the Goldschmidts, the Wertheimers, the Haas family, etc.
No. four the list were the Rothschilds, with 109,375 Florins. Exactly one hundred years later, the
Rothschilds were the masters of Europe, dictating the terms at the Congress of Vienna. They
then requested a noble coat of arms with l royal coronet, featuring the Leopard of England and
the Lion of Hesse. This request was denied in 1817, but after t tremendous financial pressure
was brought to bear on the government, it was finally granted in 1822. The following year, the
Rothschilds took over all of the financial operations of the worldwide Catholic Church. Of the
head of the family, Sir Nathan Mayer Rothschild, the Dictionary of National Biography noted:
"The influence of his firm and himself compared with that of the-Bank of England; after the
death of Sir Moses, Montefiore Rothschild may almost be said to he the generally authorized,
leader of the Jєωs of the world."

I also found this book, written by a Protestant but generally inoffensive to Catholics, to be very intriguing: http://ldolphin.org/cooper/contents.html
It talks about how the pagan gods were actually the names of ancient patriarch, e.g. Japheth, the sun of Noah, became Iupater, Jupiter, for the Roman pagans. Actually, St. Augustine mentions this very theory in passing in his City of God. The book presents mankind as originally knowing the one God, but after time many of them departing from the truth and mixing truth with lies and going over to idolatry. This is orthodox. It's stands in sharp contrast to the blasphemy of the modern secularists who like to imagine that the original state of man was polytheistic idolatry and that "monotheism" grew out of polytheism, and not vice versa.

These are the only two books by Protestants I've read, I think. The thing about Protestants is that their devotedness to the Bible can now and then lead them into some good insights that may be overlooked by Catholics who have an entire tradition alongside the Scriptures to draw knowledge from, and the fact that since Galileo Catholics have been squeamish about "Biblical literalism" whereas many Protestants have not.

    I found this interesting link:
    http://www.monachos.net/conversation/topic/1607-nephilim-genesis-64-patristic-commentary-requested/

Irenaeus of Lyons speaks in surprising detail about the Nephalim. Perhaps the most important single quotation is:

"For unlawful unions occurred on earth, as angels united themselves with daughters of men, who bore them sons who, because of their exaggerated height, were called giants (cf. Gen 6.2-4). The angels then gave their wives, as gifts, wicked teachings, for they taught them the powers of roots and herbs, of dyeing and cosmetics, and the discovery of precious material, love-potions, hatreds, loves, infatuations, seductions, bonds of witchcraft, and all kinds of divination and idolatry hateful to God. When these entered the world, the things of wickedness overabounded, while those of righteousness decreased, until judgement came upon the world from God […]" (A demonstration of the apostolic preaching, 18, 19).

This text makes it quite clear that Irenaeus knew (well) the Book of Enoch, and that it influenced his reading of Genesis (this is clear also from various passages in his longer work, The detection and overthrow of knowledge falsely so-called).

Interestingly, Irenaeus ties the above actions of the Nephalim directly into the spread of the consequences of Adam and Eve's original sin to the whole of the world.

The Great Flood was used to kill all nephalim progeny who slept with women of all tribes/races (hence different giant races) and wipe their civilisation off face of the Earth.
God promised he wouldn't do it again.

They've hidden loads from us after "Tomb Raiding" in Egypt/around Globe. Padlocked 'n sealed items in basement store rooms well hidden from public eye.

You see pictures of the 'forbidden' items (in their thousands) on Egyptian Artworks etc for one!

  • Ham, according to some traditions, is the prototypes either for blacks or slaves because he saw Noah in his nakedness.  The other sons either walked in backwards or covered their eyes.  Noah, a man of the Earth (which means he was foul man of flesh and not particularly noteworthy) was given in to drunkenness after the flood.  Noah, according to Jєωιѕн tradition, was a lowly man who wouldn't even be considered righteous in the time of the prophets.
